Recent Volcanic Eruption 2024 In Europe. Thousands of tremors have been recorded around the nearby fagradalsfjall volcano in recent weeks. A volcano in iceland has erupted for the sixth time in three months, spewing red lava through a 4 kilometre fissure on the reykjanes peninsula.

Lava flowed from the 3,300 metre high mountain. An eruption marked as continuing does not always mean persistent daily activity, but indicates at least intermittent.
